Central Florida's original "teen only" homeschool group. This group is for families homeschooling students age 11 to 18 and living in Central Florida. Many of the members are in Seminole and Orange Counties, but all are welcome. If you have younger children as well, you may join however, only children that are 11 & up can participate. All activities, field trips, etc. will be geared toward the middle to high school level/age group.

The moms of the group also meet for coffee once a month for fellowship. They meet for park days twice a month, have monthly member activities that include field trips, group and family activities, and have an active teen group.

Some homeschooling families have to work hard to help their teenagers find social opportunities. Perhaps you live in a small town or rural area. Your teenager may want to make new friends. Or she may seek an outlet for a new interest. If so, consider organizing an activity with other homeschooled teenagers in your vicinity. Here are several tested do-it-yourself ideas.
