Brevard HEAT (Home Educators Activities Teams)

Brevard HEAT (Home Educators Activities Teams) is designed to assist homeschool parents in Brevard County who desire their children to participate in extra-curricular activities with quality instruction in a moral environment. They are a member of Florida High School Activities Association and offer various Varsity and Jr. High sports to homeschool students. This allows homeschooled students to compete on a team of their own. They offer programs in cross country, volleyball, gold, basketball, soccer, track and field, and tennis.
Christian Homeschool Athletic Association (CHAA)
The Christian Homeschool Athletic Association (C.H.A.A. "SAINTS") is a professional physical education program presently serving home school families from Hollywood, FL to Vero Beach, FL. C.H.A.A.'s sole purpose is to provide homeschooled children all the benefits of an athletic curriculum under the guidelines of professional instructors. The curriculum has been written by Coach Rick "Mr. Rick" Andreassen and is approved by the A.C.S.I. (Association of Christian Schools International). Activities include: archery, baseball, softball, kite flying, Frisbee, T-ball, volleyball, soccer, basketball, track & field, flag football, golf, horseshoes, tennis, team sports, Presidential Fitness Challenge and more.

Presidential Fitness Challenge
The President's Fitness Challenge is a program for encouraging students to make staying active part of their everyday lives. The President's Challenge includes the Active Lifestyle program, the Presidential Champions program, the Physical Fitness Test, and the Health Fitness Test. Homeschoolers are eligible to participate. Homeschool groups with 50 or more students can enter the State Champion Award program as well.
