Can a Christian Be an Unschooler?
Unschooling is an educational approach, an attitude towards learning. It refers to the ways in which we use books, materials, and experiences to learn and grow. The type of underlying structure you have inside yourself, your goals, value system, discipline, whether you watch TV or call parents by their first names, whether you use a patriarchal, democratic, or any other type of family structure, are not unschooling issues; they are parenting issues. Classical Conversations
Classical Conversations was founded in 1997 by Leigh Bortins to provide Academic Programs and Services for home school families everywhere. Since then, it has grown from Leigh’s living room and a handful of students to hundreds of students and teams of home school parents across the US. Their once-a-week, supplemental, academic programs provide a committed Christian community and structure and support, along with great fellowship for the students and parents. They offer Foundations (K4-6th), Essentials (3rd-6th), and Challenge for (7th-12).

Haven Homeschoolers, Inc.
Haven Homeschoolers operates as a cooperative group of homeschooling parents and children. They are Christian-based, but not Christian-exclusive. Their purpose is to encourage family members in their homeschooling efforts by providing information, socialization, fellowship and support.
Christ's Church Homeschoolers
Christ’s Church Homeschoolers is a faith-based group of homeschool families in Jacksonville, Florida. The group meets weekly from September through April and offers extra-curricular classes such as art, P.E., science, and many others for a total of twelve class days in both the fall and spring semesters. Many of these classes are taught co-op style by parents in the group, and parental involvement is a requirement of group membership. Occasional field trips, parties, and weekly park days are some of the other activities that group members enjoy. Quarterly service projects seek to involve families in reaching out to the needy in our community, with a favorite being an annual garage sale for charity. They also sponsor Mom’s Night Out events and bible studies to encourage spiritual growth and friendship development.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship of Florida (CHEFF)
CHEFF was founded in 2003. Their goal is to encourage one another as they endeavor to educate their children for the Lord's glory. Christian Homeschool Athletic Association (CHAA)
The Christian Homeschool Athletic Association (C.H.A.A. "SAINTS") is a professional physical education program presently serving home school families from Hollywood, FL to Vero Beach, FL. C.H.A.A.'s sole purpose is to provide homeschooled children all the benefits of an athletic curriculum under the guidelines of professional instructors. The curriculum has been written by Coach Rick "Mr. Rick" Andreassen and is approved by the A.C.S.I. (Association of Christian Schools International). Grace Home Schoolers, Inc. (GHS, Inc.) is a support group comprised mostly of Christian families in the Central Florida area who are educating their children at home. They offer various activities for students K5-12th grade. Some of the regular activities each year include weekly enrichment classes for elementary, middle, and high school students, educational fairs, Math Count Team, Presidential Physical Fitness participation, field trips, a published yearbook, a fine arts night, and a graduation ceremony.

Community Christian Homeschoolers
Community Christian Homeschoolers is a Christian support group serving families in Alachua and surrounding counties offering fellowship, support, and encouragement for parents: park days, field trips and other activities for their children. CCH began in 1985 with just a handful of families and has now grown to over approximately 70-75 member families. The large group meets two times each year for re-registration and an Information Fair. This large group is broken down into sub-groups of 5-10 families each to enable parents and children to get acquainted more easily, go on field trips and participate in other academic activities.

North Brevard Home School Association

Gulf Coast Christian Home Educators Association (GCCHEA)
Gulf Coast Christian Home Educators Association (GCCHEA) is a local homeschooler’s support group. It is run by volunteers and has cell groups of families grouped together either by location or by similar interests. GCCHEA hosts many and varied activities throughout the year for its members. Some of the activities in the past include Science Fairs, Art Fairs, Safety Day, Spelling Bees, Civil War Days, park days, Pilgrims’ Feast and Festival, Christmas Caroling and crafts, plus many others. There are also many exciting field trips both in and out-of-town. This is a large group of over 150 families from areas including Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton Counties, as well as military families living on the local military bases of Eglin, Hulbert, and Duke Field.
Christian Homescholers in Pasco (CHIP) Homeschool Support Group
The CHIP support group is the oldest homeschool group in Pasco county. They offer one or two field trips a month, a park day the first Friday of each month (Sept. thru May), and a Christian homeschool skating party jointly with another homeschooling group on about the third Friday of each month.

Chipola Home Educators
The purpose of Chipola Home Educators is to enrich the educational and social elements of each homeschooling family. They provide field trips, group activities, and park day gatherings so that children can learn and play together. They also support adult family members. Moms' meetings provide an opportunity to give and receive encouragement, as well as exchange ideas and resources. Many of the members are Christians, but a statement of faith is not required to join Chipola Home Educators.
Citrus Christian Home Educators Association (CCHEA)
Citrus Christian Home Educators Association is a homeschool support group located in Citrus County, Florida. This association was formed several years ago (1993) by a handful of Christian home school families. They shared a common dream of establishing a support group for Christian home schooling families in Citrus County.
M.O.M's Homeschool Group

Family Treasures
Family Treasures is a Christian homeschool support group and academic co-op working together to create Christ-centered opportunities for long-term fellowship and learning. Family Treasures Homeschoolers currently has members from the Lehigh Acres, Buckingham, Alva, Cape Coral, Gateway, and the Fort Myers areas. Family Treasures consists of two parts--the homeschool support group and an educational co-op. FT co-op meets in Lehigh Acres for three class hours and another hour of optional recreation. The co-op meets on Friday mornings with the last Friday of the month as a park or field trip day.
