eTutor Virtual Learning is an online school providing an in-depth curriculum to students in grades K-12 anywhere in the world. Access to the program is through subscription. Subscribers become part of an online learning community held in high regard by some of the nation's best educators. Ideal for homeschoolers, international students, student athletes and performers, health-impaired, gifted-talented students and those who want to increase or refresh their educational skills, eTutor provides lesson modules in the areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Florida Virtual School (FLVS) was founded in 1997 as the country’s first state-wide Internet-based public high school. Today, FLVS serves middle and high school students with more than 90 courses. In 2000, the Florida Legislature established FLVS as an independent educational entity with a gubernatorial appointed board. FLVS is the only public school with funding tied directly to student performance. FLVS provides online solutions for grades 6 to 12, as well as for adults seeking GED alternatives both in FL and out-of-state through their Global Services Division.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, PVA uses the tested and proven PAC curriculum, but in a virtual, online setting. Students with Internet access can now benefit from the PAC program from anywhere in the world.

A Beka Academy is an accredited, comprehensive distance-learning program for kindergarten through grade 12. This academically challenging, college preparatory education features high-quality video instruction and uses Christian character-building textbooks from A Beka Book.

Alpha Omega Academy (AOA) is an accredited online academy for grades K-12, with thousands of students enrolled worldwide.

Clay Virtual Academy (CVA) is a K-12 public school providing elementary, middle, and high school academic programs to Florida residents for FREE. All of the courses are fully on-line and meet Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. As a Clay County District School, Clay Virtual Academy is a SACS accredited diploma granting institution. Florida Connections Academy (FCA) provides a new form of public school that students can attend from home. Parents pay no tuition for students to attend Florida Connections Academy. Students are considered to be enrolled in a public school. FCA provides textbooks and other curriculum materials, along with a loaned computer (state-run program only), printer and subsidy for Internet service.

This group is for folks in Florida currently using K12 or thinking about using K12, Dr. William Bennett's online curriculum. Discussions include homeschooling with K12, charter schooling with K12, and education/life with kids in general.

This group is for large families using the K-12 curriculum created by Dr. William Bennett. Both homeschooling families and Virtual School families are welcome. It is particularly intended for families with more than 3 children in K-12 as well as additional teens, toddlers and babies. Discussions include both the curriculum and the challenges of implementing it in a large family.
